Black Bean & Cheese Empanadas
1 container FRESH IS BEST BLACK BEAN DIP
3/4 cup shredded cheese ( Mexican cheese or mozzarella)
1 jalapeno, diced
Premade Empanada dough
Mix Fresh is Best black bean dip, cheese, and diced jalapeno.
Roll out empanada dough.
Place a spoonful of the black dip mixture in the center of the empanada dough. Fold the dough over the filling.
Moisten the edges of the dough with egg wash using a pastry brush. Seal edges by pressing with a fork.
Bake for 20 minutes at 375F in an oven or air fryer. Flip empanada after 10 minutes. Bake until golden.
