Chicken Taco Salad in a Tortilla Bowl

Serves: 4


  • 4 flour or corn tortillas

  • 1-2 cooked chicken breast diced

  • 1 jalapeno diced

  • 2 tsp FRESH IS BEST taco seasoning

  • 1 head of lettuce chopped

  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese or Tex Mex cheese shredded


  • green onions diced

  • FRESH IS BEST salsa

  • sour cream

  • FRESH IS BEST guacamole


  1. Preheat oven toaster oven to 375 F degrees. Place tortilla in a taco bowl maker. Put a pie weight in the middle to keep the tortilla from caving in. Bake the tortilla bowl till crispy and golden. Repeat with the rest of the tortillas.

  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat add olive oil. Sauté diced jalapenos, chicken and Fresh is Best taco seasoning.

  3. Remove the taco bowls from oven and remove from taco bowl maker. Place taco bowls on place. Assemble taco bowls with lettuce, chicken jalapeno filling, and cheese. Top with Fresh is Best salsa, Fresh is Best guacamole, sour cream and green onions.
