Easy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients


  • 2 1/2 tsp FRESH IS BEST taco seasoning

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1 tbsp canola oil

  • 12 FRESH IS BEST tri-flavour taco shells

  • 1 cup FRESH IS BEST salsa

  • 1 avocado diced

  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges


Directions

  1. Combine Fresh is Best taco seasoning, cumin, paprika, and oregano in a small bowl, and season chicken with the spice mix.

  2. Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, add chicken to the skillet in a single layer and cook until golden brown and cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes per side. Let cool before dicing into bite-size pieces.

  3. Serve chicken in Fresh is Best taco shells, topped with Fresh is Best salsa, avocado, cilantro, and lime.
